My passion for teaching started in California and I quickly expanded to teaching in a variety of settings.  Over the past 27 years, I have taught children from all elementary grade levels in several different countries.  I earned my Master’s Degree in Education Administration while in Belgium, then taught elementary grades at international schools in Venezuela and China.  When I had a family of my own, I recognized a need for a children’s museum in our Gunnison Valley and founded The Trailhead Children’s Museum.  As my children grew, I became involved with the organizations directly influencing their daily lives.  I have been on multiple boards and committees supporting Celebrate the Beat, Girls on the Run, West Elk Soccer Association, CBCS PTA and Titans Booster Club.  However, my heart is with teaching children and helping them shine.  My specialties are language arts, social studies and ELL, but I can tutor any elementary school subjects. I look forward to filling my soul by tutoring at ELTC!  The need for private tutoring has never been greater than now!
